Take action
Send a clear demand to Google.

policy contacts, or consumer-protection representatives.
To Google:
We are calling on Google to take stronger action against Gmail account abuse used for phishing, fraud, impersonation, malware delivery, and spam.
Public abuse reports show repeated misuse of Gmail accounts by scammers. Google should strengthen prevention against programmatic account creation, rapidly suspend accounts tied to verified abuse, improve victim reporting workflows, and publish meaningful transparency metrics about abusive Gmail account creation and enforcement.
Email platforms are critical public infrastructure. Large-scale abuse should be treated as a platform accountability issue, not merely an individual user problem.
We demand:
1. Stronger controls against automated Gmail account creation.
2. Faster enforcement against accounts reported for verified phishing, fraud, and spam.
3. Better reporting tools for victims and security teams.
4. Public transparency metrics on abusive account detection and suspension.
Sincerely,
Concerned internet users, victims, and security professionals
